Process: Pour lentils in a bowl and pick out the bad (discolored beans).

  1. Add water. Let lentil sit in water for 15 minutes to soften.
  2. Add lentils to pot and boil for 30 minutes. (Add salt to your liking)
  3. Dice Tomatoes, Onions, Ham, Bacon, Peppers, Garlic and simmer in Olive Oil until light brown.
  4. Add diced vegetables to the boiling pot of lentils.
  5.  Stir, let simmer for 10 mins together.
  6. Serve
